"This is not an advertisement, only communication." Lake Martin Oyster Bar has been in the works for 1 1/2 years..We attempted to buy 2 existing properties that claimed they wanted to sell, but wanted much more than they were worth, Go figure...I initially backed off the current location due to two major concerns, Size and parking...Finally, I decided to go ahead with my partners and establish the restaurant, and grow from there...My opinion was, "we have a 40,000 acre recreational lake, and not a oyster bar on it".. "lets do something about that." I personally have been in the business for many years, I head-hunted my staff from different eating places around the lake over the last year, They are my team and I stand behind them. They have worked hard for me, are dedicated and excited. This is something that is refreshing to see in young people today...Our goal is to serve the best food on Lake Martin..With limited size, I truly believe we are doing that.
Our staff will have T-shirts soon, but remember, we are a casual Lake Oyster Bar...I take all of your comments seriously and to heart..We are quickly working out the kinks....My goal is to be in a building that can seat 225 by the summer of 2010..I love Lake Martin, Alabama, Born and Raised. Have a great lake weekend, THE SEASON IS UPON US......
