Lots of zingers fired around today, but I'll take my chances with this question. My pontoon has a "shallow" alarm which is set for 6 feet (don't know how to change it, but that's not the question). My only 2 trips to Chimney Rock (really Acapulco Rock, I think), my "shallow" alarm has gone off constantly. Even thought the depth shows I am clearly in very deep water, the alarm continues to go off. The question: is there something under the water causing the alarm to go off in that area? That location and my dock are the only places it goes off. Of course, at my dock the depth shows 4.5 feet so I expect that - just not at the rock. Any ideas other than shut it off?
