I saw that analysis this morning on the news as well. Time will tell. We all believed that would happen since Obama has lied about nearly everything to get his agenda ... now he is realizing he it is either bankrupt the country and send it in to a tail spin, or break his promise that no one under $250,000 would get a tax increase. He is actually already breaking that with the elimination of deductions which increase the effective rate without raising the nominal rate. Also if cap and trade passes this will be a huge tax increase on every american, not to mention the forced tax to pay for his socialist health plan.
