If you want to hear the n word spend more time with African Americans and listen to hip-hop or rap. Black drillers that we work with are constantly saying that n did this or that n did that. It never ceased to amaze me to listen to them.

I don't doubt that you heard that kind of remark but it is truly the exception and not the rule. You are just as likely to hear an angry black man call you a cracker. There has always been and will always be a certain lack of civility in the world. But we have come a long way from the era of Jim Crow and we will continue to make progress. I truly believe our national discourse on race will become more civilized when the poverty pimps like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and John Lewis are gone from the scene. They just have too much invested and make their living off the charge of racism. The rest of us long ago moved on and stopped worrying about the color of someone's skin and focused more on the content of their character......
