First of all Lamont, thanks for not jumping on the bashing me bandwagon. For the rest of you, I too never said anything about spending all my time engulfed in sports. I too would much rather be on the lake. If this were not true, i would be posting this message on some fantasy league web site. I do my share of yard work as well as I am now a homeowner of about 3 months and have probably spent more time the past 3 months in my yard than any of the rest of you. Trust me it is alot more work to recover a yard from neglect than it is to maintain an already manicured lawn. Like you said, pro sports are not fake and I agree that money does make a mess of them at times. Let's remember, this post started as a question about predictions for the upcoming season. If someone despises baseball, the money involved with baseball, Bobby Cox, or anything else that you can think of to despise, why not leave it for the post titled THINGS I DESPISE. Instead, hardly anyone has posted anything about how they think the season will turn out. Again. I think the Braves will win their 14th straight division title, the NL pennant, the WS and they will do so on stellar pitching by Hampton and Smoltz, better than average pitching by Hudson and an MVP quality season by Andruw Jones. If by being able name drop 5 Atlanta Braves then I am a crazy sports loon, then so be it. Now, anyone else care to post a prediction?
