1. For all of those people out there who don't seem to think that the statistics that The Daily Home provided were accurate, the burden of proof is on YOU. All of the statistics that they provided were matter of public record, anyone can get those statistics by simply requesting them. So check it out for yourself and see that you are still WRONG, little boats and personal craft are more prevelant on the lake and more prone to have accidents.
2. As far as this new legislation (that is a crock), here is a reality check for you: It is not the size or the speed of the boat that matters; what matters is the person who is behind the wheel! I mean come on people, are you telling me that you would start a legislation to ban 18 wheelers from our roadways because they drive too fast and have accidents? I think NOT!
3. Mr. Bronson, after reviewing your statement in The Daily Home, I have come to the comclusion that once the Army has braonwashed you into thinking that when one person does wrong, (ie. driving under the influence or speeding) EVERYONE gets punished for the stupidity of one. My husband is in the Army and I am a proud AMERICAN, but the Army is not the most logical thinking branch of the military! With that said why should all people that are on the lakewith boats longer than 26 feet 11 inches and go faster than 60 MPH be punished for the mistakes of a few idiots?
