Subject:   Lights at the lake!

Sitting on the dock and watching the stars at night is delightful as there is very little backlight!. In most areas around Atlanta, the backlight from streetlights or outdoor home lights prevents the community from watching the beautiful night sky. While it is still easy to see the sky in some parts of the lake, wouldn't it be nice if all street lights had covers to push the light down? Wouldn't it be nice if outdoor home lights were low voltage and faced down? We could preserve the beautiful views!!!!!!!!! Before the lake gets too crowded and too full of street lamps, I believe we should consider doing what some Arizona cities have done. Eventually the economy will change and there will be more and more homes around the lake. Now is the time to place covers on street lights and preserve our ability to see the night sky. Thoughts?
