I gave away my last child to marriage this weekend and it just happened to be my youngest and my only daughter. Wow, so much different than my son's weddings. Anywho, I was just wondering, is it OK for a loving dad to cry walking his daughter down the isle? Not that I did or anything.... I just wanted to take a poll.
Oh yeah, while we are at it, is it OK for the Dad to get misty-eyed while giving a rather long-winded toast at the reception? Not that I did or anything, I just wanted the board members thoughts. Finally, in my happiness for this union, we love her husband, is it OK for the dad to feel melancholy, sp? These are all hypotheticals of course... and please.... no politics on this one.
