Is it OK? ...sure it's OK, ...it's natural.
-The older I get the more emotional I seem to get. It's embarrassing to go to the movies anymore.
-However, several years ago i thought about all the crying I saw at retirements, weddings, funerals, etc. I decided that it was good and natural ..and cathartic.
-However, after thinking about it a little more, I came to teh conclusion that these are really, in most cases, celebrations (with the exception of early, untimely deaths). Retirements that bring tears usually mean that the celebrant enjoyed his/her job, friends , etc. The same with weddings, etc. Now I try to focus on the joy of all these events.
-Now, I cry less and party more. Life is a wonderful journey.
