Looked a bit longer than that to me but it is possible 26 and change is what it is. We were at the Rock when we saw it. Believe the boat was made in California - very nice.
To Shoefly - understand that many road vehicles are capable of high speeds as well. But there are many differences between road and water driving - not the least is that there are posted speed limits. And don't forget the lines and such on the roads that help keep us seperated from each other most of the time.
Don't get me wrong - I love to see and hear beautiful boats like this. But with the combination of this kind of speed, lots of boats on the lake, the variation of driver skill sets and experience out there, etc. - I can't help but think there will be some problems ahead.
I know personally that when I'm driving my Harley or sportscar, I drive somewhat differently than when I drive my truck. I'm quite certain that I would operate this tunnel hull a bit differently than I do my pontoon or ski boat. Human nature.
