I could be off base here since I do not know. Do the public boat launches charge a fee for their use? I think a ten buck charge for each watercraft launched at a public facility would help assist funding the WP. It is a minimal charge in proportion to the cost of boating. It should be worth it for those on the water to have the additional safety and security of additional WP.

Those of us with a Lake place pay addditional taxes for piers and boat houses just to have our boats on the water. Any and all of us who enjoy the Lake boating wise should pay a fair share for the privilege.

What do others think? Maybe ten bucks is too conservative???
