What I meant by marine police okaying them is that they had no problems with the bouys and consider them public use. Just like the rest of the lake is... public use. The problem is that you have people who think they own the water because their house backs up to it... but in fact it is there for everyone to use. If someone spends their hard earned money and their time to go and place a bouy out there, what sense does it make to cut the line? What good would be accomplished by it? People are still going to tie up regardless. If someone don't like the fact that everyone ties up then there is plenty of other parts on the lake that they can go and avoid that area.
