Someone cut the Ski Course buoys in Sandy Creek last year--they'd been there for years--don't know why people do stuff sometimes.

If the Marine Police is OK with it, maybe they could give an official approval and put an official buoy or buoys there. That's about the only place on the lake where people like to raft up so they should justify it for safety reasons. Too deep to anchor in main channel and you're out of the way between the islands--so a buoy makes sense. APCo owns Acapulco Island and Russell owns Chimney Rock Island--have you checked with them to see if they may have removed the buoys?
