Oh GF, surely you don't want to go there by trying to give Obama credit fro an uptick in car sales, if its even true.

First of all, Obama did not get what he wanted, which was to hand Chrysler to the unions. If sales went up its because customers think or thought the federal government and unions won't own Chrysler like they do GM (as we watch GM go further down the toilet)and were rewarding the creditors for their principaled stand. If the deal goes through the way he wants it and they will suffer the same fate as GM......

Second, if he deserves credit for this, then he surely deserves blame for all the bad economic news. I am giving a speech in Toronto next week, the topic being the U.S. economy, and I can tell you there is very little good news. The recession has extended beyond what was expected because of the recklessness and irresponsible actions of the administration, our national debt is going to be trillions (spent on entitlement programs...not stimulus) which will completely screw our children and grandchildren and unemployment is headed toward 10%. He is repeating the exact same mistakes made by FDR in the 1930's (I urge you again to read The Forgotten Man by Amity Schlaes)which turned a recession into a depression into the Great Depression.

Finally, who in their right mind can believe anything he says? The Messiah makes up 150,000 new jobs in a month where we lost almost 700,000. There was zero evidence of this claim. He just made it up between debates with his teleprompter about where he was in a speech.
