is the real threat to the US auto industry. All I will say as it relates to cars like Honda, BMW, Toyota, Kia, etc ... they are assembled in the US ... many components are imported. So it is a blend.

But I am a big believer that we are in a world economy and it does not matter as long as other nations view it the same. But the US has been a bigger consumer than other countries so we do import more.

As for the president/government running any US industry, I am 100% totally against. That should never be the role of government in a capitalist country ... which is why I say Obama says he is not socialist, but his actions clearly say otherwise.
