Most are not as thoughtful, and it is more the people dragging tubes than those who are surfing who are creating the wake hazards. The slough that we are in is about 420 yds wide at our place, but is cut down to around 280 yds about 100 yds past the cabin. When you have boats pulling tow toys in erratic paths, and others coming from or returning to their places farther in, the place is a mess. It seems like all eyes in the boat are on the towed, and none are watching the bow. About three years ago 2 PWC that were running together collided just past where the slough gets smaller, I expect to see many more such accidents from the boating "skills" I am seeing this year.
