Subject:   No State Income Tax in AL?

The Great State of Alabama does not tax (Income Tax) the retirement pay of Federal Retirees. I assume that is true for Military Retirement pay, and I would bet it is true for State Civil Service Retirement checks. Big advantage over Florida since the property tax is much less in Alabama. It would help if sales tax were only more reasonable, but I guess you can't have everything.
