You hit the nail on the head osms. I have water year round - 8' deep at the floating dock at winter pool, but what irks me is the failure to recognize and address problems and consider the consequences of a change in policy. Instead - we have to wait until 2013 to address this issue. Until then, we will not put the plug in until 2/19, no matter what.

Now Alabama Power said in a press release that this is the first year in quite some time the lake has not reached full pool. Right - that would be 2006.

If they had thoughtfully considered the situation, we would still be in bad shape but at least APCO would have had some more water to generate with, thereby helping themselves and the economy.

This is what you get when a company is run by a bunch of engineers. Everything is by the book - dam* the consequences.

LTL and Myth - you can come back and tell me how stupid I am and whatever, but that puts you in the category described above.
