Dewd.....

That was such a special message and I will cherish it always!!

My point was.....the guy worked all of his life, retired here, you guys decided to party all weekend April thru October, and now you expect us to move out....WRONG!! : )

We've had big parties here for ever....no one has ever had a problem with it and still do not have a problem with it. At any of our parties, non of us have ever had 200+ people at them either.

The marina from it's founding in the 1960's up until the last 4 or so years before fulltime karaoke got started, wasn't a problem either.
It now takes advantage of the entire neighborhood's residents, regarless of your viewpoint of what's going on.
If you, all of a sudden, wanted a quiet weekend...that would be impossible and you could do nothing...for the moment....to stop it.

We have never wanted to just sit around and listen to the crickets chirp as you would have people believe....that is nonsense!

We are simple sick of ONE place...constantly taking advantage of this area.

This isn't an industrial park, or a downtown area, or even a night club where these things would be of no consequence.

It is a neighborhood! Haven't you noticed that the only things around here are HOUSES....and the Marina? Makes sense...huh?

Would you put up with this where YOU live?

I doubt it.....that's why you like to come here where you don't have to deal with it.....but we do.

NOISE ORDINANCE: We will be more than happy when they are enacted and inforced!!

Having one doesn't mean you have to walk around on egg shells. It simply states what the parameters are....nothing more. The only thing it will do is get rid of the loud partying....no problem there what so ever!!
